When a position becomes available those who have expressed interest will be notified of the open position and will have an opportunity to confirm their continued interest. 

Interview preference for technician positions will be provided to those who:

       1. Already have the RBT credential
       2. Have a bachelor’s degree
       3. Have already completed the 40 hour RBT training course       
           within the previous 4 months* and meet other qualifications

*Free and for a fee trainings are available online. Feel free to reach out to us for help finding a training course that fits your needs. The BACB has released pass rates by training program to assist you in selecting a training provider. 

Registered Behavior Technician

Works under the direction of the BCBA and BCaBA

RBTs work directly with clients providing one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach language & communication skills, social-emotional & play skills, daily living & self-care skills, and reduce problematic behaviors in the home, community, and clinic settings. RBTs work under the direction of the BCBA and implement the treatment plan. RBTs are responsible for accurate record keeping of case notes and excellent communication with the supervising BCBA. An RBT must be fun and flexible. They must be creative and have the ability to think on their feet. 


Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Works under the direction of the Lead BCBA and Clinical Director

Our BCBAs have the opportunity to complete assessments and write treatment plans, provide parent training, provide staff training, and implement direct therapy services. BCBAs Have small caseloads to keep the focus on individual client progress. BCBAs are clinical teachers who educate, observe, assess, and supervise the educational activities and service delivery of RBTs.


Behavior Technician

Temporary Probationary Position for team member pursuing their RBT

Well qualified applicants can begin working with Behavior Texas while they complete the requirements to become a RBT within their first 90 days of employment.
